Swagbucks - Search & Win

Today I will be posting about Swagbucks (referral), a website where you essentially get rewarded for searches you would usually be doing. For me I have been using Swagbucks since late 2009, and have redeemed for over $300 in giftcards from Amazon (450 swagbucks for $5). How it works is whenever you search you can win anywhere from 7 - 50 swagbucks (it is all random), although  you cannot get points for every search. It definitely  helps when you have the search bar since in the beginning I would always forget to go to the site and do my searches. What is great is that there are other ways you can earn swagbucks, most recently I have been doing surveys which had paid me 125 swagbucks  for just a few minutes of my time, others can be as long as 40 minutes long but the amount you earn varies (from 20-300 swagbucks). You can get points from watching videos in the Swagbucks Tv, and lets not forget Swag Codes (if you like them on Facebook or follow then on Twitter) they release codes on a daily basis.

In terms of rewards Besides Amazon gift cards, they offer a bunch of other rewards in their catalog like Sephora, Restaurant.com gift cards to name a few. The Amazon gift cards in $5 denominations are the best value and since I am trying to save up for a Rebecca Minkoff Swing, I am trying to save up my gift cards right now so that I can score it for free because who wants to pay for something when you can earn points to get it for less? Therefore I would really appreciate it if you guys can sign up under my referral link, and how referral's work is that whenever the person you referred wins swagbucks during searches the person you who referred you wins those points also (up to 1000 swagbucks).

Ebates - Get back 3% from Amazon.com

Note: The link above is a referral link

So I received this email from Ebates (referral) regarding double cash back for the upcoming school season and had to post this since Amazon.com was on the list! There are never any discounts for Amazon.com so getting back 3% for a limited time is pretty sweet, considering Amazon sells anything and everything you can think of (this is great for electronics or designer things). As you can see from the image, they are doubling cash back on certain sites like Sephora (8%) and Nordstrom (5%, great with the upcoming Anniversary sale coming up!).

If you do not know about cash back sites like Ebates, check out my article to learn more about them!

July Haul - Gap Eyelet Dress, Peplum Top & Gap Belts

So it has only been a week into July and it seems that I broke my own rule to only buy 2 clothing pieces a month. However I did score some awesome deals, I always find that at the end of June/beginning of July retailers have the best deals along with the post Christmas sales in January. Below are most of the items I bought this past week along with the ways that I scored them for much less.

Gap Eyelet Dress - Originally $69.95 / On Sale for $36.99 + extra 40% off

Hollister Bay Street Peplum Top Originally $39.50 / On Sale $34.90 + additional 50% redlines
EDIT: Price was lowered to $9.45 (Extra 50% off $18.90)
No price adjustment but I bought it and am planning to return the other one I bought, thankfully I did not remove the tags yet!

Gap Belts Originally $24.50 each / On Sale $9.99 + Extra 40%
Forever 21 Coral Necklace $6.90
Forever 21 Spandex Shorts $3.90 (not pictured)
Also forgot to mention that I scored two Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Sprays (mini size) at Sephora for free when I cashed in 100 Beauty Insider points each (read more about it here: Beauty Reward Programs - How to Get More From Your Beauty Purchases). They are currently selling for $12 each in stores & online. Really glad I waited to cash in on my points. I don't know why the Sephora site lists them as 0.34 oz but the ones I have and previously bought are 0.5 oz.

June Haul - H&M Heart Tee, AE Accessories, Gap Belt

Happy July everyone, can you believe we are already a little bit more than halfway finished with the year? I guess I started off July with a bang already in the shopping department since I already bought 2 items yesterday so look for that post a little later in the week. Besides that I haven't been shopping much, as you have seen from my previous 2 posts those were my end of May/beginning of June purchases. In the past week since my last post I did buy some things with great discounts, via coupons and offers available.

H&M Divided Hearts Tshirt - $6.95
Gap Pale Pink Belt - $10.97 (final sale)
American Eagle Necklace & Bracelet $4.95 each
Sephora Dual Sharpener $5 (not pictured)
Old Navy 3-pack Socks $5 (not pictured)

Here is a skirt I purchased at Forever 21 at the beginning on June for $13.80, with no discount at all however it was still a great bargin for a basic that you can pair with anything. Btw this skirt is still available online right now (essential crepe chiffon skirt), if you are interested since Forever 21 is offering free shipping until July 4 with any purchases over $21 (no code needed, only on full priced items).
