Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Review & Giveaway

Its time for another review, and along with it another giveaway! This time I will be reviewing Revlon's Colorburst Lipgloss in shade 'Strawberry Fraise'. I'm a big lip gloss/lip balm person and I'm always on the lookout for new products and since I was a big fan of Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipgloss, I thought I would give this one a try. Below is a description of the lipgloss from Revlon's site:

A pop of weightless color with vivid, mirror-like shine. Outshines everything but you!
• Micro-crystal formula for 5X the shine of patent leather
• Plush applicator shaped to curves of your lips for smooth, even application of color
• Revlon ColorBurst’s Elasticolor™ technology for rich color with a weightless feel
• Moisturizers and anti-oxidants such as sweet almond oil and vitamin E conditions and improves lip texture
• Available in 15 vibrant, on-trend shades

First off the design of the lipgloss is absolutely sleek, its thin and the cap design is very luxe looking if you ask me. The shade I am reviewing is 'Strawberry Fraise', to me the color definitely reminds me of strawberries and the shade looks summery to me because of it (you can see the how the shade looks like below). This lipgloss is slightly scented, it has a candy sugary scent to it, not my favorite but it doesn't bother me that much. On the description it describes that the gloss brings 'mirror like shine' and it definitely delivers on that account. Though if you want a more subtle look I would apply a thinner layer, so if you apply more you can achieve a night on the town look with this gloss. This particular shade has shimmer to it and, it is pretty subtle on my lips and not crazy looking since the gloss itself provides a nice shine. I would definitely recommend this gloss to anyone if they are looking for a cheap basic lipgloss that comes in a variety of colors, I'd give it 3.5/5. The gloss retails about $7.49 and can be found at grocery stores or your local drugstore.

Thanks for reading my review, and since I would love for you to get an idea of how the lipgloss is yourself, I'm giving away a trio of them in honor of the holidays coming up. So you can save one for yourself, and share the two with your friends or family! The image below shows the shades that I will be giving away in the trio, from left to right: Crystal Lilac, Strawberry Fraise, and Fire. To enter the giveaway, tell me your favorite item from the Revlon line (if you have not used Revlon before tell me what you would want to try from them!) along with your name and email from now until 12/16 to be eligible to win. The giveaway is open to U.S residents only, at least 2 people to enter before a winner can be chosen. Giveaway is now closed and winner has been contacted, but feel free to comment about the lipgloss!

*Disclaimer: This review & giveaway is in no relation to Revlon Cosmetics, I bought the items myself and choose to review & hold a giveaway for the lipglosses.

  1. My favorite revlon product is their new colorburst lip butters. They have a slight tint to them and they are moisturizing. Unfortunately they are difficult to locate here where I live :/ but the product is great!
